SEAS works with NASA and the US Space Force for Coastal Preservation and Restoration

Hydro & Topo Surveys at NASA Kennedy Space Center

SEAS recently completed a coastal survey project in the Brevard County/NASA area, performing hydrographic and topographic beach profile surveys, along with tidal (Mean Low Water) surveys. The work supported FDEP-approved coastal management efforts and was carefully reviewed and certified to meet state and regulatory standards

Caring for Cape Canaveral’s Coastline

SEAS is supporting the U.S. Space Force in monitoring and protecting the Cape Canaveral coastline. Our hydrographic and topographic beach profile surveys capture changes in dunes, shorelines, and nearshore waters, providing essential data for erosion management, long-term planning, and coastal stewardship. This work helps ensure the coastline remains resilient for future generations while supporting national infrastructure and mission readiness.
